Common symptoms
Let’s explore some common reasons for neck pain we see in clinic:
-
Pain can radiate down the shoulder, shoulder blade or down into the arms. It can be hard to look up or move the neck and the neck may feel weak. We assess, diagnosis and refer you on for imaging or specialist care if required. Most make a full recovery.
-
Car accidents or bad tackles and collisions in sport can cause injury to the neck where it travels one direction abruptly before returning back causing significant pain and movement limitation. We can help you recover and regain movement, pain free.
-
We don’t have to live with poor range and pain, we can provide hands on treatment and strengthening to maximize your movement and function.
-
Discs, joint degeneration or osteophytes in your neck can cause compression of the nerves down into your arms causing nerve related symptoms, weakness and pain. We include nerve-based rehab with strengthening to improve overall function.
-
A quick flick of the head can pull a muscle resulting in stiffness and pain. We provide joint mobilizations, soft issue massage, needle and recovery rehab to help get you back to 100%.
