Arm, Elbow & Wrist
How we can help
-
We can hear or sometimes feel a pop and the muscle moves up the arm, these require urgent review. We can manage any other injuries in this region also. (Bicep/Tricep).
-
Noticeable swelling visible? We can help relieve symptoms and refer you on for cortisones if need be.
-
TFCC injuries, carpal tunnel, wrist strains to ligament tears, we help manage symptoms and improve function. We do send you off to hand therapy should the injury require a little more.
-
We often collaborate with hand therapy here as splinting helps and reducing movement in the initial phase. We are then able to get you moving, loading and back to full function.
-
There can be multiple reasons you’re feeling discomfort or limited movement. From cartilage issues, instability, subluxations, nerve-based compression injuries to muscular tears, we can help!
From tennis-elbow to difficulty gripping and putting weight through your hand, we can manage upper limb injuries and conditions.
Tennis & Golfers Elbow
Common symptoms
We can develop pain on the inside or outside of the elbow region. Common symptoms include:
Pain or weakness with picking up objects
Achy type pain after activity
Lifting objects
After providing you with treatment (needling, massage and joint mobilisations), we engage with a variety of loading in your rehab to restore optimal function. You need to be doing specific loading, isometrics and progressive overload in time.
If you have an old injury, welcome to book in also and we can help improve your overall function.
